The Korin Kimono Original Corner is installed next to Room 11 of the Japanese Gallery (Honkan) at the Tokyo National Museum. This display has been ended.

The Korin Kimono Donation Box and Display of the Replica Kimono

The replica of the Korin Kimono is displayed at the corridor of Heiseikan Special Exhibition Hall.
Please enjoy the beauty of the Korin Kimono with color applied to the fabric using ink-jet printing technology.
Here we also set up a donation box. We hope you will contribute to our project!

We invite you to try on a replica of the Korin Kimono two other kimonos displayed at the Special Exhibition KIMONO: Fashioning Identities.

 

Participation fee:

Free (participants require an entry ticket or the stub of a ticket to the Special Exhibition KIMONO: Fashioning Identities).

* We hope all participants who support our project will make a donation in the box provided.

Hours:

Fridays and Saturdays during the exhibition period, Wednesday, April 29–Wednesday (holiday), May 6, 2020(holiday) Cancelled to limit the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
