- German physician and zoologist Philipp Franz von Siebold, a name well-known in the history of modern science in Japan, came to Japan to serve as the physician for the Dutch trading post on Dejima. He was expelled by the samurai government, but returned to Japan in 1858. This is a database of the Western books Siebold brought with him and Japanese books he collected during his time in Japan.

- The database contains a record of restorations of cultural properties conducted by the Nihon Bijutsuin from 1899 to 1944 consisting of more than 400 registers and some 7,000 photographic glass plates. Restored cultural properties can be searched by title and other keywords. All of the registers and photographic glass plate images can be viewed in the Buddhist Art Library.
