Overview
This unclothed figure was decorated with a lotus flower motif in the groin. It was originally enshrined with fabric garment. The examples of unclothed statues have been increased after the Kamakura period, the statues of Jizō Bosatsu (Skt. Kṣitigarbha) and Kōbō Daishi (Priest Kōbō) have been appeared, but statues of Amida Nyorai have been most commonly remained.
